You start lashing. You get better and keep improving. You keep taking pictures, building your portfolio. Next thing you know you’ve got thousands of eyeball pics on your camera roll.
Throughout the years, these pictures accumulate. Some are treasures to keep for lifetime, others are just wasting space. I never payed much attention to this cause I always found excuses not to, resulting in a lot of pictures being lost or over-edited based on my editing tastes years ago (yuck). Which are now pretty much useless.
So, I started a new thing. I started deleting the useless pics, and only keeping my favourite ones. 2 folders: one for raw and one for edited ones.
When you save your work and organize it, you’ll have easy access to it in case you ever wanna go back and use them again, without having to search amongst 20K-30K of photos. Guilty 💁🏼♀️🙈
And one day, when you look back at your work 2-3 years down the road, you'll want to show it off and be proud of yourself to see how far you’ve come! Or, if you run out of content, you’ll always have those old favourites that never really get old.
Ps. You’re less likely to encounter the “Your storage is full” message when trying to capture the most beautiful pics of your work!
Who’s guilty? 🙈
